Terms and Conditions of Use of The 911
Network's website and membership
This website is owned and maintained by The 911 Network ("The 911
Network.com") and employees of The 911 Network. The use of this
website is subject to the following terms and conditions which you
should read carefully. By using this website you agree to be legally
bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these
terms and conditions, please do not use this website.
Use of website
1 The information provided on this website or in
any communication containing a link to this site is for personal
use and informational purposes only and is not intended for distribution
to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction in any country
where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation
or which would subject any member of The 911 Network Group ("The
911 Network.com") to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction
or country. Where any opinions are expressed on this website, they
are provided by The 911 Network Members for personal use and for
informational purposes only.
2 Where any information on this website constitutes
a financial promotion it is issued and approved for distribution
and use at this time in Canada only.
3 As a "registered" member of The 911 Network website,
members shall not make any libelous or defamatory comments in any
submissions made to the website. These include: comments against
the City of Ottawa, any associated union, 911 Network members and/or
against any businesses located within the community. Any and all
un-professional uses or submissions on the website shall be removed
and the member's membership shall be revoked. Membership dues will
not be reimbursed. Any legal proceedings that may result from comments
will be the legal responsibility of the offending member and the
challenging body.
4 Posting or using confidential information as
it pertains to any 911 service, operation or person is directly
forbidden for posting or submission to The 911 Network Website.
Communication of any confidential, discreet or personal information
will be reported to the appropriate agency or organization. The
911 Network will not be responsible or liable for any posting or
use of confidential information. Limitation of Liability UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES AND REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN TORT, CONTRACT
OR OTHERWISE, WILL The 911 Network BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER
PARTY FOR AN INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, RELIANCE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND REGARDLESS OF CHARACTER, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DAMAGES RELATING TO LOST DATA, COMPUTER

for communications made by third party users (members) of the website.
2 The 911 Network.com or "The 911 Network" and
any employee of The 911 Network will not be held liable and or responsible
for any miscommunication/ misrepresentation on the website or in
any other medium of terms, promotions that result in financial losses
to any participating business in The 911 Network program.
3 This website contains a number of links to other
websites. In providing these links, The 911 Network does not in
any way endorse the contents of these other websites. The 911 Network
has not developed or reviewed the contents of those websites and
does not accept any responsibility or liability for the contents
of these other websites. Should you use a link from The 911 Network
website to any other website you do so entirely at your own risk.
4 It is the responsibility of participating businesses
to communicate changes to the rewards, discounts, promotions and
events in writing via email to The 911 Network. The 911 Network
is not liable or responsible for gathering this information on behalf
of the participating business.
5 The 911 Network and employees will not be liable
or responsible for rewards, discounts or promotions not provided
to members by former or current participating businesses.
6 Opinions or comments expressed by members to
any member of the community are not considered tied or linked to
those of The 911 Network or any employee working with or for The
911 Network.
7 The 911 Network.com, The 911 Network or representatives
or employees of The 911 Network shall not be held liable for any
injuries, illnesses or accidents resulting from product purchases
under the membership program or by participating in an associated
event.
8 Submission of member registration forms via the
website is at the consent of the member. The information provided
is for the sole ownership and use of The 911 Network. The 911 Network
cannot ensure that any information submitted to the website is secure
and will not be compromised.
9 Participation in The 911 Network rewards program
or website does not constitute a contract between any registered
users, members or participants, whether they be participating businesses
or registered members. As such, The 911 Network is not held by any
formal or extenuating agreements with the participating parties.
Terms of Use of "The 911 Network" Membership Card
1 Misrepresentation, forgery or invalid use of
The 911 Network membership card, logo and trademarks can and will
be prosecuted by full measure of the law.
2 The 911 Network Membership card shall not be
used in accordance with any other program or offers, outside of
The 911 Network Program. The terms of its use are spelled out on
The 911 Network website. Members must show a valid provincial Driver's
license with The 911 Network card at the time of purchase with participating
businesses. Participating businesses shall reserve the right not
to accept The 911 Network card as a complete identification. Photo
identification in the form of a valid driver's license is required.
3 Members or non current members may not use in-valid
or expired membership cards.
4 Businesses may reserve the right to not honor
The 911 Network membership card on any sale items or products that
exist outside any previously signed agreements with The 911 Network.
Business may also reserve the right not to honor The 911 Network
membership card for any member who is belligerent, difficult or
un-cooperative with staff or management of any participating business.
5 The 911 Network reserves the right to discontinue
the use of the membership card at any time, due to reports of non
compliance with any of the stated terms of use. Participating businesses
may be notified and the member's card privileges will be revoked.
Use of "The 911 Network" Name, Trademark and Logo
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary of
The 911 Network.
1 The use of "The 911 Network" name, trademark,
logo or program design, whether it be an original or re-creation,
without written consent and or permission by "The 911 Network" is
forbidden by members or by public or private entities.
2 Use of any of The 911 Network information, text,
logos etc may be requested by .
Warranty Disclaimer
The website and all elements thereof are provided on an "AS IS"
basis without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. The 911
Network, disclaims any and all warranties, expressed or implied,
including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantibility,
fitness for a purpose, particular purpose, or non infringement.
The 911 Network DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEB SITE WILL OPERATE
OR PERFORM IN A MANNER THAT IS UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT
THE WEB SITE OR HOST SERVER WILL BE MAINTAINED FREE OF VIRUSES OR
OTHER HARMFUL CODE. The 911 Network MAKES NO WARRANTIES THAT THE
